Some precaution

• Do not o for swimming when the navel piercing is still raw. It may get infected. One does not know the quality of water in the swimming pool. Here may be a lot of invisible germs that may affect the wound.
• Make sure that you don't buy body jewelry from an unclean place. One advises you to have cheap body jewelry so that you can possess a variety. But the thing picked up from an unclean place will affect you adversely.
• Clean all your jewelry before putting them on.
• Do not allow people to touch the jewelry till your piercing is totally healed.
